There is invariably a risk. I wouldn’t do it unless you can afford to take the hit of losing everything. Also I wouldn’t use ideneb for that machine. Every distribution is different and each are sound for some other configurations. I strongly evoke using iatkos v7 for an HP Mini. It is the strongest build for that computer hardware as it has all the device drivers employed in on the Mini. There is a step-by-step on what selections to pick in this thread.
